Tour de Blueberry
In conjunction with the NC Blueberry Festival the Cape Fear Cyclists hosts the Tour de Blueberry Ride on Saturday June 15, at 8:30AM. This is a non-competitive bicycling event and all routes are on country roads with light traffic. The shorter routes of 9, 13, and 21 miles are designed for casual family fun.
New for this year for experienced riders we are offering routes of 33 and 63 miles.
All routes start and end at Pender Memorial Park.
Helmets are required and All riders must sign a waiver.
Riders under 18 must have parent co-sign waiver, and riders under 14 must be accompanied on ride by parent. All riders must ensure that bike is in good mechanical condition. Riders should carry water, tube and tools to repair a flat. All riders must obey the rules of the road - remember we are sharing these roads with motorists.
Pre-Registration: Online only, at no additional cost, at PreRace.com until midnight June 9th.
$20, $10 thirteen and under. T-shirt included
Registration: On day of event from 7:15 to 8:15AM at Park
$25, $10 thirteen and under. T-shirt included while supplies last.
Proceeds will benefit local nonprofit organizations.
